I was always told to read Dubins or 'the only ekg book you need' or told to read a big EKG book. You absolutely must know how to read an EKG well and have a systematic approach. If all you can do is muddle thru an A fib/flutter know that something is Vtach vs SVT and can recall the various interval lengths and guidelines for STEMIs then you will be in for a rude awakening. I also didnt go to a residnecy where I was taught things. Some of you went to med schools and did awesome third year and fourth year rotations and feel like you know all of this.
